Your profile

• The candidate we seek will have Project Engineering or Contract Management experience relative Transmission & Distribution Industry.
• Good understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards & technologies subsystem primary & secondary systems.
• It is also required to have familiar knowledge of applicable Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations and Risk Management processes.
• Fantastic communication & interpersonal skills are a must, with a very strong work ethic on ‘their colours’ as much reasoning as being able to work ‘on their own initiative’.

Your Responsibilities

• As a Senior Project Engineer, you will implement, support, and drive the project/work packages for the assigned Design Engineers with respect to all equipment design and specification.
• You shall work along with the Technical Lead Engineer and the Procurement Officer on all subcontractor & supplier packages, handling subcontractors/suppliers’ packages from delivery up to handover.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical, procurement, and quality information is made available for factory acceptance testing and, where deemed necessary, to attend acceptance tests and complete supplier/subcontractor performance evaluations.
• Commercially and technically, you are required to raise all potential risks, variations and opportunities and collaborate with the Project Manager

In addition, you will be required to produce Monthly Progress Reports throughout the work packages for internal and external reporting, assure the communication of procurement information concerning QA Plans to Procurement, and liaise closely with site personnel and commissioning engineers regarding work package activities.

You will be expected to meet and interact with the customer regarding work package discussions, technical questions, and issues, as well as design risk management.
