M&E Project Engineer – WATER INDUSTRY
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Forest Row, East Sussex
Salary: Up to and around £50k depending on experience + Van and Package
PROJECT PARTNERS are recruiting for M&E Project Engineers with the required experience to join an excellent team in East Sussex.
Role Summary
- To be in charge of the coordination and delivery of projects across a wide range of values and complexities and to ensure that all projects undertaken are in agreement with cost, scope, and programme.
- Supporting the SED team in preparing the design and estimate of the Project (pre-implementation)
- Capable of involvement in several projects while managing the construction work awarded to suppliers/subcontractors.
- Provide expertise for the repair, refurbishment, or replacement of equipment and plant.
- Preconstruction process planning; development, implementation, and monitoring.
- Participation in start-up, site visits, and design meetings.
- Manage notices of scope changes in accordance with contract requirements, e.g., early warnings and compensation notices.
- Produce information as required for Project level KPIs.
- Directs project teams (direct and subcontract) and is accountable for project management.
- Such other duties as are appropriate to this post may be assigned.
Key Competencies
- NEC 3 knowledge and experience
- HNC minimum in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- Good communication skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
