Control Systems Engineer

Overview of the Position
Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) will be designed, configured, tested, and put into service by the Control Systems Engineer. Supporting intelligent transportation systems projects is the responsibility of this Sydney-based position.

Testing and troubleshooting of applications and systems key responsibilities

1. creation of databases, reports, and graphical user interfaces.
2. production of instructional materials for maintenance personnel and operators.
3. System test procedure design and implementation.
4. tracking maintenance and managing documentation.
5. creation of design documentation and command-line system administration.

Qualifications

1. Engineering degree in electronics, electrical, mechatronics, or a similar discipline.
2. expertise in the design and testing of integrated control systems.
3. familiarity with communication systems, control panel design, and HMI/SCADA software.
4. knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, network configuration, and the Microsoft Suite.
5. strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. A driver’s license from Australia is preferred.
