Senior Electronics Engineer (AU)

A brief account of the job: DroneShield (ASX:DRO) is looking for an Electronics Engineer. DroneShield is an Australian leader in defense tech concentrating on counter-drone solutions. The job includes cutting-edge technologies for the purpose of electronic warfare, AI/ML, and RF sensing for global security against drone threats.

Role Specification

1. Role: Electronics engineer (Embedded Systems Team)
2. Office: Pyrmont, Sydney HQ (4,000sqm facility).
3. Reporting: Electronics Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design  PCBAs for RF/digital modules.
• Create hardware for high-speed digital interfaces, RF circuits, and battery-operated devices.
• Cooperate with others on prototyping, testing, and otherwise improving quality.
• Manage  troubleshoot hardware issues and manufacturing test procedures.

Descriptions:

• Educational Qualification BS in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience 5+ years of experience in hardware design with RF/digital circuit and switch-mode power supply designs
• Skill Uses by Analyzers Altium Oscilloscopes Spectrum Analyzers.
• Preferred Skills Experience in RF front-end design (up to 10 GHz), Design of Heat Management, and Experience in SDR
• Knowledge of RF Modulation techniques and Multi-carrier combination.
