Looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Glasgow area on a permanent basis.
The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously
- Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
- Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal
- Strong leadership skills
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineering Manager role will involve:
- Leading and developing the design team.
- Directing the delivery of engineering tasks and, where necessary, coordinating with vendors and partners.
- Promoting continual improvement within the department.
- Directly overseeing reports and evaluations through performance reviews, KPI setting, and ongoing training.
- Supporting platform design teams through collaboration with appropriate personnel as necessary.
- To ensure that all work is executed according to the required standards.
- To ensure compliance to ISO certification standards.
