About the Senior Project Manager Role:
Joining the Commercial team in York for 18 months, the Senior Project Manager will deliver the procurement and implementation of a new revenue management system. The role is pivotal in transforming efficiency and accuracy in revenue-related activities and working with internal and external experts and other rail operators to achieve this.
Key Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with stakeholders, define project scope and business cases.
- Plan and schedule cross-functional project activities, manage risks, and ensure resource alignment.
- Ensure the smooth transition of the outcomes of a project into business as usual.
- Oversee the execution of a project, manage budgets, progress report, and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
What LNER Looks For:
- Experience managing and delivering projects, preferably in delivery functions.
- Degree or professional qualification in project management (APM, Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).
- Experience in benefits management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in revenue management, procurement, and contract management in the rail, airline, or leisure industry desirable.
