About the Senior Project Manager Role:

Joining the Commercial team in York for 18 months, the Senior Project Manager will deliver the procurement and implementation of a new revenue management system. The role is pivotal in transforming efficiency and accuracy in revenue-related activities and working with internal and external experts and other rail operators to achieve this.

Key Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with stakeholders, define project scope and business cases.
• Plan and schedule cross-functional project activities, manage risks, and ensure resource alignment.
• Ensure the smooth transition of the outcomes of a project into business as usual.
• Oversee the execution of a project, manage budgets, progress report, and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

What LNER Looks For:

1. Experience managing and delivering projects, preferably in delivery functions.
2. Degree or professional qualification in project management (APM, Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).
3. Experience in benefits management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
4. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
5. Experience in revenue management, procurement, and contract management in the rail, airline, or leisure industry desirable.
