Project Engineer – EcoFit Team – Schneider Electric, Brisbane

Work Model:

This position is based in Australia, specifically Brisbane, as Project Engineer with Schneider Electric’s EcoFit team, with the key objective of modernizing electrical systems, optimizing costs, and extending the lifecycle of MV/LV power distribution infrastructure. This position has a specific combination of core engineering and sustainability-fueled innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of projects for MV/LV power systems and retrofit solutions for switchgears and circuit breakers.
• Providing in-field engineering support for the workshops and sales teams.
• The modernization of aging or legacy electrical equipment in the aim of improving efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaboration on business growth strategies for EcoFit.

Specifications:

1. Education: A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or appropriate discipline).
2. Experience: Working hands-on in manufacturing environments around MV/LV systems; knowledge of retrofitting legacy equipment with an appropriate solution.
3. Licensing: RPEQ accreditation (Queensland Registered Professional Engineer).
4. Skills: Problem-solving skills, communication, project management.
5. Travel: Has a driver’s license and own transport (workshop-level Brisbane airport).
