Technical Manager

The job is for an experienced Technical Manager who should be joining residential developer teams in West London. The position is permanent and requires a full-time commitment with travel to various sites and offices, focusing primarily on residential building work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the site, thus enabling the proper setting of construction schedules.
• To carry out accident prevention and safety measures as dictated by CDM Regulations 2015, including record-keeping.
• To be responsible for the design information-flow, technical documentation, and consultant coordination to meet the needs of the project.
• To ensure design compliance in accordance with civil engineering agreements (S104, 38, S278) and statutory requirements.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
• Provide support for land, planning, and development teams during land acquisition for planning approvals.

Skills and Experience Required

• Good-knowledge of construction principles, design, and project management.
• Knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and industry standards.
• Good communicator with the skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Relevant degree; or other equivalent qualifications (e.g., Architecture, Engineering).
• Experience of working with Tier 1/Tier 2 Residential Developers or RC frame/cladding projects.
• Membership of professional bodies: ICE, CIAT, CIOB; for example.
• Health & Safety qualifications, Principal Designer training, CSCS card.
• Ability to use Viewpoint drawing management system and AutoCad.
